Sharpenly
About Sharpenly

Built bilingual for the trade.

Training the technicians who keep the country running, in the language they think in.

Automotive training usually assumes an English-first, classroom-first reader. Technicians who work in Spanish or learned on the floor get material written for someone else. Sharpenly closes that gap. Every lesson, quiz question, and explanation is built in English and Spanish from the start, with Spanish written naturally for the shop rather than translated word for word. People read in the language they think in.

Twenty-one study categories covering ASE A1 through A9, the L-series, plus the customer-facing skills nobody teaches in school: phone handling, objection scripting, negotiation, CSI follow-up. 168 lessons, more than 4,300 quiz questions, all scoped to five working roles: mechanic, service advisor, tire technician, shop manager, and diagnostic specialist. Pick the role you actually do. Skip the ones you don't.

The content is generated by Claude (from Anthropic) against a corpus of authoritative source material: repair manuals, NHTSA and EPA documents, OEM whitepapers, sales and negotiation books. Not invented answers. Every quiz starts from a cited source, then gets bilingual treatment, then ships. The app itself is a single-page progressive web app. Install it from the browser on your phone, works offline once you've used it.

Sharpenly is built by a team that knows the trade and the cost of training that does not fit the floor. If you have feedback, content suggestions, or want to talk shop, use the contact page.

Sharpenly is in beta. If you find a bug, please tell us. Every report makes the next mechanic's experience better.
